On the occasion of Finland’s nomination of Ms. Minna Kivimäki as a candidate for the position of Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization. The new International Maritime Organization (IMO) will have a term of office of 4 years from 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2027. In this regard, Ambassador Mr. Jyri Järviaho presented the Note Verbal document and asked for support from Thailand. and Ms. Minna Kivimäki expressed her vision for being IMO Secretary-General to the Thai side.
