On November 22, 2022, Mr. Jirawit Klompheri, Deputy Director of Corporate Strategy, as APEC Port Services Network (APSN) Council Member of Thailand, along with Port Authority employees. related Participated in the 14th APSN Council meeting via online meeting system. They participated in considering and following up on the progress of activities and projects under APSN, such as the Green Port Awards System (GPAS) project, activities under the APEC Port Study Center, and financial statements and budgets. APSN including considering selecting a person to hold the position of President of APSN. The meeting resolved to appoint Mr. Marc – Yves Bertin, representative of Canada, to hold the position for another term.
In addition, Thailand has confirmed its hosting of the 15th APSN Council meeting and the APSN Forum, which are scheduled to be held in October 2023 in Thailand and has presented the APSN Forum theme under the topic \u201cDigital Transformation and Innovation in APEC Ports\u201d and Thailand has presented the project Promoting Safety for Dangerous Goods Transportation in APEC Region, with the objective of studying the management of dangerous goods in the APEC region. As well as participating in the preparation of emergency plans (Emergency Response) or recommendations for preparing for emergency situations. (Recommendation on Emergency Preparedness and Response Procedure) and make recommendations for the management of dangerous goods in ports for the APEC region. which the Port Authority It is scheduled to be hosted between 1-2 December 2022 in Phuket Province, Thailand.<\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n\n\n
